The Lambayeque Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office will use the result of a report from the Comptroller’s Office in the investigation that is being followed up on the mayoress of Ferreñafe, purple wall and their trusted officials, for the irregular reception and conformity of vegetable oil and canned grated anchovy.
LOOK: Investigate the mayoress of Ferreñafe for purchases of grated cans
This was stated by sources from that tax office, after consulting this newspaper regarding the specific control report No. 24071-2022, which was published last Thursday.
The case has been investigated since April this year, after it was discovered that several packages of grated preserves, purchased by the Ferreñafe commune in 2021 for the Food Supplement Program, were discarded as they were not suitable for human consumption.
But the investigations turned up more troubling aspects of the hiring. The report specifies that the Ferreñafe commune spent more than S/ 262 thousand on vegetable and grated oil and then gave its approval to these products without making any observations.
One of the problems with this acquisition, according to the Comptroller’s Office, is that the food was not made by the supplier that obtained the good deal.
Also, that the quality certification did not have the endorsement of the National Institute of Quality (Inacal). It was also determined that the supplier Teodolinda López Díaz delivered the products after the term established in the contract and that the municipality did not apply the penalties. The labeling of the grated cans indicated that the manufacture was carried out by Inversiones Pesqueras Liguria SAC., but when the businesswoman reached her offer she put information on the Apolo Fisheries Corporation.
López obtained the status of supplier of goods and services only in March 2021, and the contract with Ferreñafe was signed in June.
