Laidy Gómez denounced harassment against her mother by officials of the Táchira Governorate

Lady Gomez, former governor of the state of Táchira, denounced that her mother was harassed in San Cristóbal. She indicated that a white van belonging to the entity’s police and a motorized vehicle had been following her since the morning of this Saturday, May 14.

“Right now my mother, Elizabeth Florez, is sheltered in Farmatodo (April 19, San Cristóbal). In the face of a motorized follow-up and a white truck that had been harassing her from early hours, ”she said on her Twitter account.

In recent days, Gómez had also denounced that armed men without identification were in the surroundings of his residence in San Cristóbal. They had previously attended three times in less than 24 hours.

“They allege that they are officials who go on a home visit looking for me,” he reported on Twitter, while mentioning that he feared a forced execution. However, she has not indicated more information about it.

On the other hand, Freddy Bernal, governor of Táchira, requested on April 24 the Attorney General’s Office and the Judiciary to act against Laidy Gómez. To whom she pointed out to incur in alleged acts of corruption during her time as regional president.
