The president of the Congress, Lady Camones (APP), said that Pedro Castillo should make a “concrete” decision on the Minister of Transport and Communications, Geiner Alvaradowho weighs an investigation in the Office of the Prosecutor of the Nation.
“There are too many syndications about (Geiner Alvarado). More than him, I believe that the President of the Republic should make a concrete decision”responded to the press when asked about the minister’s permanence in the Cabinet.
Alvarado, as well as Pedro Castillo, have been included in an investigation in the National Prosecutor’s Office for allegedly being part of a criminal organization that seeks to take over positions in the Executive to grant works fraudulently.

Lady Camones recalled that there are two interpellation motions against the Minister of Transportation, who previously held the position of Minister of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, which will be debated on Monday, August 29.
Likewise, he assured that he has not rejected the call he received from the Prime Minister, Aníbal Torres, to hold a meeting with Pedro Castillo and the Government.
“We have sent documents to the premier so that they reach us with their legislative initiatives. In the same way, to all the benches to be able to form that agenda and invite the president and also the premier and be able to make this agenda in common “he stated.
