During the night of this Monday, September 5, the Plenary of Congress approved the motion of censure against Lady Camones Soriano after the broadcast of some audios by Epicentro TV. In them you hear Cesar Acuna ask him to prioritize a bill that would benefit him electorally.
The approval of the motion of censure —which was presented by left-wing factions— was possible with 61 votes in favor, 47 against and 5 abstentions.
After knowing the decision of the national representation, the Fujimorist Martha Moyano declared the vacancy against Camones Soriano and called for elections.
