This Wednesday, March 16 and Thursday, March 17, communities located in sectors such as the Cinta Costera, Chanis, Tocumen and Juan Díaz will be affected by repair work in the Modular Distribution Chamber for the interconnection of the Second Module of the Wastewater Treatment Plant. , located in the district of Juan Díaz. These will cause the drinking water service to be temporarily suspended.

According to the Panama Sanitation Program (PSP), the paralysis of the pumping stations seeks to reduce water levels and thus be able to safely carry out such important work.

They added that while this work is being carried out, overflows will be made at designated points in the Sanitary Sewerage System, for which some nuisances due to bad odors may be registered.
