Lack of AI regulation would increase job layoffs, according to Petro

President Gustavo Petro said, on Monday, November 18, from Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), that G20 countries are concerned about the impacts that artificial intelligence (AI) may have on the labor market, among which he cited the possible increase in hunger.

Petro also referred to the reform of global governance, one of the flags promoted by Brazil in the G20 presidency.

In this regard, the Colombian president said that the reform is “fundamental” for the construction of a global democracy, especially that of the United Nations (UN) Security Council, for “end wars and prevent the increase in hunger“.
