Carabobo Governor Rafael Lacava held a meeting this Wednesday at the Valencia Municipal Theatre with the High Military, Police and Civil Command of the state to provide an overview of the days of violence in the state.
He commented that thanks to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces they were able to control the acts of vandalism that occurred in different municipalities of Carabobo.
“I call for calm and normality in the activities of Carabobo state,” he said.
He stressed that the national and regional governments are convinced that peace is the path to be followed by the Venezuelan people.
He said it was confirmed that the opposition financed young people to commit violent acts and stage a coup d’état.
He said that the detainees will face justice alone, without the support of the pseudo leaders who, since Sunday, “will send them out to stir up the streets.”
Lacava explained that the property damage includes popular pharmacies, the Naguanagua High Technology Center, Mercal headquarters, police commands, monuments, among others.
Finally, he said that it is necessary for a democratic opposition to emerge, with a project for the country and a commitment to peace.
“It’s time for everything to calm down, for everyone to get back to work and back to normal,” he said.
