The president traveled to Río Negro on Monday to participate in a series of official activities in San Gregorio de Polanco

The President Luis Lacalle Pou participated on Monday in a series of official activities in the departments of Tacuarembó and Río Negro and took advantage of the tour to take a bath in the river.
As reported by the Municipality of Tacuarembó, the president he slept from Monday to Tuesday in San Gregorio de Polanco and took a bath in the Negro River.
On Monday afternoon, Lacalle Pou inaugurated the new bridge that connects Tacuarembó with Durazno, but then moved to Río Negro to present a sanitation construction project for San Gregorio, which “will serve 65% of the city, where 3,900 people live permanently and 8,700 in tourist season”, according to the website of the Presidency.
