President Luis Lacalle Pou visited the festival of the Rotary organization in the India Muerta Damto the north of the Rochense town of Velázquez, this Sunday.

The president arrived at the festival together with the defense minister, javier garciawho shared photos of the event on their social networks, and also with the mayor of Rocha, Alejo Umpierrez.
Lacalle and Umpiérrez arrived with similar clothing: both wore a T-shirt alluding to Rocha’s departmentas can be seen in one of the images that García shared.

While the mayor of Rocha had on his shirt the image of a lighthousethe president had the silhouettes of some palm treesalluding to the palmares of the department
The Rotary event was attended by about 10 thousand people in the three days that it was held this weekend, reported Montevideo Portal.
