The Fresh Air sector of President Luis Lacalle Pou will carry out this Saturday a national meeting to fine-tune the campaign strategy in defense of the Law of Urgent Consideration (LUC) and to kick off the tour throughout the country prior to the March 27 referendum.

The conference will take place in atlantisCanelones, and will have the participation of the leading figures in the industrywhich includes ministers, undersecretaries, mayors, senators, deputies, and leaders of each of the groups that make up Aire Fresco.

In the sector they hope that the day has a strong “motivational” componentin line with other meetings that have taken place during the summer, such as the meeting that Lacalle Pou held last Tuesday at Suárez y Reyes with referents from the National Party.

During the meeting this Saturday, a speech is expected by the secretary of the Presidency, Alvaro Delgadoand the Minister of Social Development, Martin Lema, the two main figures of Aire Fresco. The presidential adviser will also participate in the meeting. Robert Laflufin charge of the communication of the campaign.

Although the Constitution prevents Lacalle Pou from proselytizing political parties, in his sector they consider that the figure of the president will be “key” in the referendum –depending on the levels of popularity before public opinion–, and for this reason they understand that their intervention in the campaign is conducive, within the constitutional framework.

This Tuesday, during the meeting in Suárez y Reyes with the nationalist mayors and other leaders of his party, Lacalle Pou asked the department heads to have “commitment” to the campaign and highlighted the relevance of the territorial deployment to achieve the victory of the No in the referendum.

The Defense Commission of the LUC of the National Party recently defined a Roadmapwhich includes a schedule of the acts inside and a definition of concentrating on the most relevant thematic axes of the flagship of the Lacalle Pou government.
