A violent confrontation between a group of alleged Venezuelan criminals and members of the National Police left two dead and one injured. The incident occurred on Sunday, August 3 at the Jirón Italia, in The victory.

According to witnesses, the confrontation would have originated when police officers frustrated a robbery of a grocery truck.
When noticing the police intervention, one of the Venezuelans took out a firearm and shot at close range against a police officer, wounding it in the head.
In response, his teammates repelled the attack and kicked the aggressor. The foreign citizen, like the police cash, died in the place, while another agent was transferred to a nearby hospital.
The deceased policeman was identified as José Gabriel Munive Gurmendi. His partner, Harry del Carpio Valdez, is admitted to the Hospital 2 de Mayo. Sensitive images below:
