SANTO DOMINGO.- The first room of the Civil and Commercial Chamber of the Peace Court of La Vega summoned the Council of Aldermen of the La Vega municipality for this Friday to hear about the Preventive Amparo appeal that seeks to prevent Mrs. de Amparo from being sworn in at the Mayor’s Office there. The provincial president of the PLD in La Vega, Bolívar Marte, together with the spokesperson for the Aldermen’s Block, Raymond Núñez, channeled the request for preventive protection action in order to prevent the Chapter House from swearing in Amparo Custodio as mayor this Friday.
The appointment to the Council of Aldermen of the vegan City Council is scheduled for 9:00 am two hours before the extraordinary session of said Council scheduled for 11:00 am
