The La Plata branch of the Roca railway normalized its service between the head of Plaza Constitución in the city of Buenos Aires and the Buenos Aires capital after a tree fell on the tracks at the height of the Pereyra station.
The state railway operator Trenes Argentinos reported at 5:50 p.m. that its operators had removed the obstruction from the tracks and the formations resumed service throughout their entire route.
