An elderly woman who had been reported missing was found lifeless in the Moche River, in the province of Trujillo (La Libertad). The woman was last seen alive on Friday, November 25.
Is about Berdina Esperanza Rosas Obese (67)who disappeared when he was going to a bus stop in the district of Chao, in the province of Virú.
Two days later, on the night of November 27, some residents found the body of the old woman in the Moche River. The remains were trapped between some rocks and branches of the river.
Taking the fingerprint confirmed that it was Berdina Esperanza Rosas. The deceased woman was wearing a dark sweater, beige pants and black shoes, the same clothes she was last seen in.
The finding was communicated to the Peruvian National Police and the body was transferred to the Legal Medical Division of Trujillo. Forensic results have yet to be released, however, a murder is not ruled out.
