The President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo, inaugurated the La Basita Sports Center in the province of Chiriquí on the afternoon of this Friday, October 14, whose facilities will be used for basketball, volleyball and futsal events.
This sports project, which had an investment of B/.7.5 million, included the demolition of the old building to make way for these modern facilities.
President Cortizo said that this is a quality project, expected for many years, that generated around 700 jobs in the province of Chiriquí.
