“We do not need confrontations, we need everyone’s collaboration, unity starting with the political parties, it is a moment of unity among us, we believe, we promote democracy, but democracy without unity loses its horizon and its reason for being,” Castro said. Mars.

Offering the homily for the Day of Our Lady of La Altagraciathe bishop took the opportunity to include the business, social and professional class of the country in the message.

“There is still a relevant leadership of the Dominican women in matters of decision and direction, the Dominican women continue to be very vulnerable, they are silent victims of so much violence,” Marte pointed out.

Jesús Castro Marte was dispatched in these terms in the presence of President Luis Abinader and at a time when the country begins the pre-election year to choose its authorities.
