Krisspy performs at the Gran Teatro del Cibao

Santiago, DR.– The charismatic typical merengue singer achieved a great feat that is considered epic and memorable on the stage of the Gran Teatro del Cibao with his show “Krisspy at Large”.

A “sold out” With hundreds of people left out, the largest number of guest artists ever seen and for the first time a show lasting almost four hours, no one got out of their seats.

“The truth is that this concert in Santiago has only brought me great joy and satisfaction in my musical career. I feel grateful to God and blessed by the support of all the people,” said the man of flow.

Under the general production of José Capellán and the artistic direction of Deivit Landestoy, the show brought together on the same stage great and important figures of the country’s music scene.

When the curtain opened after 9:00 p.m., Krisspy began with a medley of boleros by Danny Rivera with songs such as “Madrigal,” “En un cuarto dos enamorados,” “Cada vez otra vez,” “Déjenme si estoy llorar” and others.

The first guest to appear on stage was the typical merengue singer Robert Liriano, followed by El Prodigio with the songs “Ta buena” and “Ella me viviendo”, followed by a surprise appearance by Jorge Lewis from Urbanda with the popular song “Quien”.

Jeffrey took the stage with a romantic medley and the songs “Volveré”, “Te he promesa”, “Último beso”, and then gave way to Silvio Mora, who performed “Agarra lo que eso es tú”, “El Pavo” and “Carrito rojo de carrera”. Peña Suazo with a tribute to Orlando Contreras and “Mi mujer me gobierna”.

Jandy Ventuta was also present with “La Almohada”, as was salsa singer Nino Segarra with “Entre la espada y la pared” and “Tú quieres más”.

Immediately afterward, Krisspy, who was also the host of the night and of all his guests, sang “Adiós amor” and “Esclavo y amo” with a mariachi.

The applause was felt when the merengue diva Miriam Cruz came out with “Muero contigo”, written by Krisspy and “Cosas de él”. Krisspy sang the first typical merengue of the night with her band “La calambrina”.

Other guests came to support Krisspy, such as Manny Cruz, his counterparts Yovanny Polanco and El Blachy, as well as Pochy Familia, Kiko Rodríguez and maestro Joe Veras.

Krisspy paid tribute to Marco Antonio Solís with several of his most emblematic songs, creating a moment of nostalgia in the audience. The concert closed with his popular song “El maíz”, where everyone sang and danced to the great night of the so-called “artist of the typicals”.
