Platform Patria reported that people who use the platform to pay for gasoline must have the funds available from the complementary payment for the subsidy
The Patria Platform announced a new update for the beneficiaries of the gasoline subsidy through its system, which will be effective as of October 1, 2022. According to Blog Patria, at the time of accepting the allocation of fuel, the funds must be available for the complementary payment.
As will be remembered, to date, the people who paid the quota of 120 bolívares per liter per month at a subsidized price, they could do it without having the resources available. In this sense, the system then deducted the funds from them as money was transferred to the person’s account in the system that they received by bank transfers or by payment of bonuses that they receive on the platform.
“The payment of the subsidized gasoline was authorized in all cases from April to September 2022 even though the funds were insufficient; That is why some digital bolivar wallets currently have a negative balance. These funds in advance must be completed before the next opportunity that corresponds to receive the benefit”, indicated the website.
It is worth remembering that the national platform maintains the use of the schedule to supply subsidized gasoline through the vehicle’s last license plate number. He reiterated that currently the payment for the fuel subsidy is equivalent to 5% of the gasoline that is paid at the international price at the pumps provided for it.
“For reference, today, September 29, 2022, Bs. 24 is paid for 120 liters of subsidized gasoline. The price of 120 liters of gasoline without subsidies is Bs. 489.60,” indicated on its website.

At that time, the amount that had to be paid upon receipt of the fuel was, according to the rate of the day, Bs. 13.20. “The exact amount that will be charged, upon receiving the subsidy, may vary depending on the liters that are assigned and the exchange rates in force on the day of the operation.”
