Banco de Venezuela increased the minimum amount for foreign currency withdrawal
The Bank of Venezuela increased the minimum amount to withdraw dollars at the box office, as reported by the financial institution through its Twitter account.
The minimum amount of currency withdrawal will now be 100 dollars and that money can only be withdrawn at the box office when that limit is accumulated in the account.
The state bank explained that users will be able to buy currency starting at 1 dollar and make use of that money in foreign currency through points of sale, mobile payment or BiopagoBDV devices.
Copa Airlines celebrates 75 years and is committed to recovering losses left by the pandemic
The Panamanian airline Copa celebrates its 75th anniversary this 2022 with the unveiling of a Boeing 737-800 NG model aircraft, which recalls the image that the company had in the 1990s, a period that -by the way- was characterized by the beginning of what would become the Hub of the Americas® and the expansion of the route network with the vision of connecting America and making the wonders of Panama known.
“With this Boeing 737-800 NG painted in the colors that our fleet wore in the early 1990s, we want to commemorate a key time in our history, when we started what would come to be called the Hub of the Americas® and the transformation of Cup in the leading airline in the region. It is a story that is full of great commitment and achievements, but above all, the great effort of our people to overcome all the challenges we have encountered along the way and proudly carry the Panamanian flag through the skies of America for 75 years” commented Pedro Heilbron, executive president of Copa Airlines.
At the end of the first half of 2022, Copa Airlines closed at 88% of the seat capacity it had in the same period in 2019. According to the airline’s projections, it estimates between three and four years to recover from the financial loss it had during the pandemic in 2020.
To date, they have reactivated 71 of the 80 routes that were pre-pandemic and incorporated six new routes: Armenia, Cúcuta and Santa Marta in Colombia; Barcelona, Venezuela; Atlanta, United States; Felipe Angeles Airport in Mexico City.
Projections indicate that the Airline will continue to be one of the largest private sector employers in Panama. At the end of 2022, it estimates to have more than 6,800 collaborators in its workforce and expects to close 2023 with 7,500 collaborators in Panama, 3% above the level of 2019.
Apple will celebrate September 7 with new iPhone
The technological multinational Apple announced a hardware presentation event for September 7, the date on which everything indicates that it will show the public the new iPhone phone model, in addition to other devices.
The event can be followed through the Apple website. As usual, the company was quite hermetic in its announcement and did not detail what the novelty to present will be, although all indications point to it being the iPhone 14.
Apple always shows off its new phone models during the first half of September, usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday after Labor Day in the United States.

Síragon brings to the Venezuelan market the new Android TV
The Venezuelan brand Síragon announced the launch of its new Smart TVs with the Android TV 11 operating system with an accessible interface, which is nothing more than an optimized platform based on the Google operating system. It is the same Android version that works for smartphones, but now for televisions.
Through the new Síragon | Android TV, users will be able to manage their apps. They just have to access the Google Play Store and install their favorite applications. They have Android TV 11, voice remote control, dual Wi-Fi, bluetooth 5.1 and the brand includes a completely free base.
