Three members of criminal groups were killed in clashes with security agencies, according to data obtained.
One of those killed fell in the South America sector, San Francisco municipality, Zulia state, where a mixed commission made up of officers assigned to Detachment 111 of the Bolivarian National Guard and agents of the Bolivarian National Police attended.
A confrontation occurred on the site, where they shot down Jonhy Bravo (42) alias El Caín, who is accused of having killed his brother Juan Carlos Bravo Fuenmayor (52) with a screwdriver, an event that occurred in 2019.
In Trujillo, two were killed, in the 3 de Febrero sector, La Ceiba municipality. A mixed commission also acted there, clashing with unknown individuals, killing Wilson Rafael Rodríguez (El Wasa), a member of the Chakalay criminal group, and Jesús Daniel Vásquez Rodríguez (El Mión), associated with the El Nelsito organization.
Once the scuffle was over, officials seized a 12-gauge Mossberg shotgun, a .38-caliber Taurus revolver, six cartridges and a motorcycle.
They presume that the subjects are linked to the group that recently kidnapped two men, whose release occurred through an operation where four criminals were killed in the El Cacao sector, Motatán municipality.
