The couple was kidnapped from their home in Canoabito de la Costa, Carabobo, by seven unknown subjects.
During a joint police-military operation, two people who were being held hostage in the Canoabito de la Costa sector, Juan José Mora municipality, Carabobo state, were rescued.
According to military sources, the rescued couple was identified as Johan Eduardo Borrego and Yoleida Marili Salcedo Gil, who were in captivity inside their home, under death threats from a group of seven unknown subjects.
After knowing the information, a commission made up of agents attached to Detachment 412 of the Bolivarian National Guard and others of Polycarabobowho surrounded the house and had a brief armed confrontation with the criminal group.
In the middle of the fray they rescued the victims and killed one of the criminals, a member of the criminal group “Wilmer el Bachiller.”
At the scene of the events, a Smith & Wesson model .38 caliber revolver was seized without a visible serial number, an unpercussed .38 caliber cartridge, the recovery of two motorcycles which were stolen the night before in the town of Urama, Juan José Mora municipality, Carabobo state by those who committed the kidnapping.
The deployment continues in search of the other criminals who fled in the middle of the confrontation.
