SANTO DOMINGO.- The Dominican driver and the bus stewardess of the Metro company who were kidnapped in Haiti along with a group of Turks were released this Saturday.
The information was confirmed to El Día by the Dominican ambassador in Port-au-Prince, Faruk Miguel Castillo, who specified that the kidnappers released Martin Decena because he is in poor health.
“I am coordinating that our people receive him and give him all the attention. We have to evaluate his health conditions because the kidnappers released him because the driver was very broken », he said.

So far the situation of the Turks and the other people who were traveling with Decena on the bus when they were kidnapped last Sunday is unknown.
The bus, in which 17 people were traveling in total, according to the list of the Metro transport company, was kidnapped by the armed group 400 Mawozo in the commune of Croix-des-Bouquets, when it was on the route between Santo Domingo and Port-au-Prince .

Eight Turkish citizens and eight Haitians were traveling in the vehicle, seven of them passengers and the stewardess, in addition to the Dominican driver.
