The Buenos Aires Governor Axel Kicillo, headed this Wednesday a meeting with agricultural producers, industrialists, merchants and businessmen linked to tourism in the municipality of San Cayetano and affirmed that they seek to “plan the tools to continue betting on a productive province“.
The governor was together with the Minister of Production, Science and Technological Innovation, august coast; and the local mayor, Michelangelo Gargaglione, and explained to the press that “we are holding meetings on a regular basis and with an open agenda to listen to representatives from all sectors, in order to raise their concerns.”
“Among the instruments we have recovered is the Bank province, which in its bicentennial has once again had a profile of support for industrial and agricultural production“, he added.
In this sense, Kicillof highlighted that “in the municipality, the Bank reached 700 million pesos in loans to support services and industrial and agricultural production capacity.”
He also stressed: “We work to support companies that represent a virtuous model of added value creation in origin, since they are in charge of generating work in each locality”.
The authorities visited the headquarters of Molinos Balaton SA together with its director, Ramiro Saluppo. The firm has been in the market for 25 years and generates 50 jobs among operators, administrative, commercial, managers and directors.
The company is part of the province’s export complex, which in November last year accumulated a total value of 25,316 million dollars, a record figure for the last ten years for that period. Of this amount, exports of manufactured goods of agricultural origin totaled sales of 694 million dollars, which meant a year-on-year rise of 73.5% for this sector.
It is essential that we value the importance of these efforts because today they allow us to shore up a sector that has been severely affected by the pandemic, re-generate employment and develop our production to definitively reactivate and integrate the Province. #ProvinceOnTheGo pic.twitter.com/3dRwhpPb3h

Kicillof also referred to the tourist season in the municipality’s spa area: “We are going through a trecord season in the entire province of Buenos Aires, where we observe a very important growth in tourism even in destinations that were not considered among the most traditional, like here in San Cayetano, where we are on our way to doubling the influx of tourists”.
He stressed that “the path has to be the same that has allowed us to achieve this season: keep working together, plan and seek effective solutions. If we do so, the results of this summer will be a floor from which the Province can continue to grow “.
