Kenyan Chebet knocked out the favourites and won Olympic gold in the 5,000 metres

Kenyan athlete Beatrice Chebet surprised this Monday one of the favourites for the distance and was crowned champion in the 5,000 metres at Paris 2024 with a time of 14:28.56, in her first participation in the Olympic Games.
