Alberto Fujimori died last Wednesday, September 11, after failing to recover from the immunotherapy treatment he underwent to combat the lung nodule that was detected in him. This occurred in the midst of another medical treatment for the tongue cancer he had been suffering from for more than 27 years.
Susana Higuchi, meanwhile, died on December 8, 2021, also due to the cancer that plagued her. Both are buried, each a few meters away, in the Huachipa cemetery.

His love and wisdom will always live in our hearts. I am proud of you, I would give my life a thousand times for you: I love you. You don’t know how much I miss you.”
Last Friday, the 20th, his older sister Keiko also published a post on X to thank the expressions of affection that her family received during the funeral of the former president. She also published a video that includes the main images of the three days of the wake and burial.
