Her protector. Exclusively, Panorama revealed WhatsApp conversations between the congresswoman of Peru LibreKelly Portalatino, and the fugitive from justice, Vladimir Cerronto whom he gives permanent instructions to remain hidden and not be captured by the National Police.
These communications allegedly took place during the month of January of this year. In one of the chats, the parliamentarian told Cerrón: “Urgent, formal matter. “Tax issue”. And two minutes later he wrote to him as a warning: “Change your location, take precautions, don’t expose yourself”.
In a third message, apparently intended to make the conversation more secure and secret, he writes to her on “Telegram,” an application that is more secure than WhatsApp.
Cerrón’s reply came two days later, when he wrote to her: “Shall I call you?” According to the Sunday paper, the communications were discovered by one of the legislator’s employees on a computer she used.
Panorama contacted Kelly Portalatino to get her version: “I want to make it clear that women are still being stigmatized, seeing it as an act of machismo. I hope that there is no act of editing, in particular I am going to give the interview in person.”
Portalatino, who appeared tonight in an interview with Final point, “categorically” rejected the charges against him related to the fugitive: “I have no communication with the doctor at present. I cannot say for sure since when. It has been a political persecution. The doctor and all the militants of Peru Libre do not consider him a fugitive, but rather that he is in better protection.”
“That is my position, no one can break it.” […] He has the right to protect his life, it is his lawyer’s advice […] All of us who are on the left are going to be politically persecuted […] “I am open to any type of investigation that needs to be carried out,” he concluded.
A few days ago, audio recordings were released in which Cerrón said “I love you” to Portalatino.
Asked about it, she said: “I feel flattered that a cultured person, a leader of a political party, and also classified as an international socialist leftist, has some situations that please him.. Any woman would feel flattered. In that sense, we cannot stigmatize women, we cannot discriminate against women.”
