The leader Popular Force, Keiko Fujimori, was pronounced after his bench announced that it will present a motion of censure against the Minister of Transport and Communications, Juan Silva. The former presidential candidate questioned the official’s management through her Twitter account.
“The employment agency, the personal negotiations and the setbacks in the reform promoted by the MTC need a definitive halt. That is why, from Fuerza Popular, we are also going to present an immediate censorship against Minister Juan Silva”Fujimori said.
Last Tuesday, the congressman from People’s Force, Eduardo Castillo, announced that at the moment they have 25 signatures, of the 33 necessary, to present a motion of censure against Silva. The parliamentarian indicated, in an interview with RPP, that the request is based on the recent Comptroller’s reports and the testimony of the resigning deputy minister of the sector, Fabiola Caballero.
“It is not (it is about) presenting for presenting and in the Fuerza Popular bench there is already a general feeling regarding Mr. Silva, that he has to leave”, indicated the congressman fujimorista.
Castillo stressed that Caballero has said that the “Ministry of Transportation and Communications is an employment agency where the suitability of several officials is not respected.”
