The Tahuichi Aguilera Stadium playing field is considered the best country. It has a firm and dense grass that allows players to develop a fast game.
Juan Carlos Malale is in charge of its maintenance and manages a budget, which is provided by the Government, between 3,500 and 4,000 dollars per month to fulfill this responsibility
“I talk to coaches and players and they all tell me that they like to play at Tahuichi because it is the best field in the country,” Malale said.who along with a whole team of 10 people has had two weeks to do a quick maintenance to the field of this legendary sports field.
Malale reported that after the end of the Apertura tournament he had to face hard work which consisted of fertilizing the land and protecting it from this cold season.
“We do not have the ideal time to work because it takes at least 45 days to accomplish all that needs to be done. For example, at the end of the season, pasture transitions are made in order to give it sustainability and color,” he said.
Despite the difficulties and the shortness of time, Malale said that the Tahuichi field will be impeccable for the start of the Clausura tournament, set for June 24.
“It will be in good condition as always, although it will only lose the color of the grass a little due to the time of year,” he said.
