Kattya asks to choose the plate of the Concertación through a consensus

Kattya González, pre-candidate for President of the Republic, for the National Encounter (PEN) party, expressed that she wants an intermediate mechanism by which candidacies are defined before the registration lists close on August 31.

“We do not have a ballot or primaries. So it’s very good that we came to a conclusion. I am convinced that unity in diversity, if this dialogue is maintained, will be possible. That the pre-candidates meet to make operational and political decisions respecting the institutional instance », she commented.

In other words, the current national deputy proposes a survey to define candidates. She attending that, if the internal elections are reached on December 18, the losers will no longer be able to fight for legislative positions.

At another point, she highlighted that she, like her party, had always been within the Coalition. This, after some criticism that she received precisely for criticizing the progress of the opposition bloc.

Efraín Alegre, the PLRA candidate for president, for his part, said that the problems he has with the Llanista sector will not be any inconvenience for the success of the Coalition.

«Our problems are solved in the directory and in the convention of the party. They do not represent any problem », he commented.
