Karla González, the Nicaraguan delegate in the beauty pageant of the 53rd edition Reinado Internacional del Café, won the award for Best Face of the competition in just the first day of the concentration. González arrived in Colombia to compete for the crown along with 24 other candidates.
«First day and I already have the honor of winning my first special award as Best Face of this edition! This achievement is for my beloved Nicaragua, which has filled me with support and love on this path. Thank you all for believing in me and for accompanying me from a distance,” the beauty queen wrote.
The Nicaraguan who arrived in Manizales, Colombia on January 5, stated that living the experience of this contest will be part of her personal growth. «I also want to heartily thank Manizales for this warm welcome and for giving me an experience that I already carry in my soul. “What a privilege it is to live this moment surrounded by so much energy and beautiful culture!” she posted on her networks.
González is among the favorites to win the crown, according to beauty experts. The digital portal Premium Missiology published: «Nicaragua again with a strong candidate for the crown. Karla González has already won the title of Best Face of the 2025 edition of the Reinado Internacional del Café contest.

The 23-year-old woman from Chontal was also mentioned by the portal The Perfect Miss in which he assured that the Nicaraguan is already among the favorites for the crown, in addition to highlighting her ease of communication.
“Karla González, with excellent oratory and command of her words, arrives in Colombia to participate in the International Coffee Reign,” the page states.
González along with the rest of the candidates met with municipal authorities of Manizales as well as with the organizers of the coffee fair that is the central axis of the reign. The candidates for the crown will participate in different activities such as a float parade, visits to historical places in the city and tasting local cuisine.
The young woman from Chontal is a model, television presenter and public figure in the country. She also participated in the Miss World Nicaragua pageant, and although she did not win the crown, she was one of the public’s favorite candidates, which allowed her to reach almost 93 thousand followers on the social network Instagram.
