Santo Domingo.- The candidate for the presidential nomination of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), Karen Ricardosaid this Sunday that the Dominican people are facing a well-intentioned president, but without State experience and poorly advised.
He criticized that after more than two years of administration, President Luis Abinader has not been able to structure a government team that works in coordination and harmony.
“We are facing a well-intentioned president, but without State experience and poorly advised. After more than two years of management, he has not been able to structure a government team that works in coordination and harmony. The improvisations on the one hand and the paralysis of the institutions on the other,” said the PLD candidate in front of hundreds of leaders who were in the Welcome Sandoval room of the National House.
Ricardo made these remarks when leading a national assembly of leaders who support her aspirations to become the PLD’s candidate on October 16.

He understands that the country needs leaders who think about their people and who have the ability to respond to the main needs that affect the Dominican people.
“My nation project includes the main axes that can lead the Dominican Republic towards development, that is why I bet on the conscious vote, on the internal militancy that hurts their country and aspires to have better living conditions,” Ricardo said when thanking to the militants and leaders at the national level who support the #Nuevaculturapolitica project, as well as representatives of the external sector.
The event was also attended by Oliver Fernández, representing youth, Yasneidy Morel, representing entrepreneurs, Rosalba Grateraux, representing women, Juan Francisco Melo, general secretary of the PLD in La Romana, and Cristopher Melenciano, gold medalist in the Deaf Olympic Games, who interpreted sign language.
Karen Ricardo indicated that her followers have assumed the commitment to accompany her, confident that with the work and effort of everyone her mission will be possible.
Consolidated proposal
The PLD presidential candidate has based her campaign on several essential axes to achieve the development of Dominicans, including the orange economy, tourism and entrepreneurship.
