the lawyer of karelim lopezCésar Nakazaki, assured that the complaint filed by the Popular Action congressmen involved in the ‘Los Niños’ case against his client will be filed in a matter of days, and that she has just been discharged after a heart operation.
In statements to RPP, he assured that his client is overcoming a surgical intervention that had her admitted to a hospital and that she was only discharged last Saturday.
“She has been hospitalized for a few weeks at the Centenario Clinic and has undergone heart surgery. Luckily she has already been discharged on Saturday”accurate.
At another point, he referred to the accusation filed by Lich López, Raúl Doroteo, Jorge Flores Ancachi and Darwin Espinoza, all from Acción Popular, against Karelim López, Bruno Pacheco and Zamir Villaverde, three effective collaborators who have mentioned them in alleged crimes of criminal organization as part of the ‘Los Niños’ case.
“I can only qualify as a childish discrediting strategy because it will quickly be archived. The duty to be a witness is a legal duty and the law establishes from when you have to be a witness. The case of Karelim López is not in that state. There is no legal duty to be a witness, that’s why that complaint is going to fall “pointed to RPP.
The parliamentarians accuse Karelim López and the others of not having specified with evidence the alleged crimes attributed to them as part of the organization known as ‘Los Niños’, as well as not having presented themselves to be cross-examined by their lawyers.
“If it were true that Karelim López has a legal duty to be a witness, in the event of non-compliance, the prosecution would have ordered his driving by degree or force”said the lobbyist’s lawyer.
“They are desperate because (the case now) does not depend on Karelim López, it depends on the builders who were benefited, on the fruits of appointments that were obtained and surely they have found out that the investigation, in addition to the statement by Karelim López, there is all a chain of evidence that the prosecution will receive”Nakazaki warned.
