Lobbyist Karelim Lópezwho is being investigated by the Prosecutor’s Office, revealed that he received death threats from businessman Zamir Villaverde after he learned of an alleged meeting he had with Luis Pasapera Adrianzén to discuss works contracts, according to a report by Cuarto Can.
On March 9, 2022, before the prosecutor Karla Zecenarro, Karelim López provided the details of said meeting that the aforementioned would have had. According to his story, Villaverde visited Pasapera, brought him a list of works and pointed out that he was the operator of the President of the Republic, peter castleand that his intermediary was Bruno Pacheco.
“That same day Bruno Pacheco called me at 11:30 at night, telling me to tell him what had happened with his friend Zamir Villaverde. I repeat, as a friend I told him to be careful, that he is giving his name and then I found out that Zamir was next door on speakerphone listening to that conversation”, López Arredondo recounted in his statement as an applicant for effective collaboration.
In that sense, he said that he learned a day later that Villaverde had heard the conversation when he went to the Termirex facilities to speak with Pasapera. “He told him to call me to take back what he said. I think she annoyed him being exposed“, said.
Later, the lobbyist indicated that she asked Bruno Pacheco to call Zamir Villaverde to tell him what the problem was with her. Then, the businessman replied that he was going to prohibit her from entering the Government Palace, in addition to threatening her and her children with shooting them with a weapon.
“He said that he was going to prohibit me from entering the Palace and that I should not get involved, that he knew how to use weapons, which was not an impromptu in this. He called me an infiltrated fujimorista and insulted me”, López Arredondo declared to the Prosecutor’s Office.
“He told Bruno Pacheco that my three children already have a bullet, likewise, he referred badly to me and insulted me”, he added.
The report also showed that Lopez Arredondo told the prosecutor that she sent a message via WhatsApp to villaverde telling him that he was denouncing him for trying to kill his children and the only thing he did was take a screenshot of said message to send it to the head of state.
Finally, she reported that Bruno Pacheco called her and told her that from that moment on she would no longer be able to enter the Government Palace.
