Kapital acquired the brokerage assets, asset management and operating banking of Interm, one of the companies sanctioned by the United States accused of alleged money laundering.
After the acquisition of Intercam’s assets, Kapital had announced that he would invest 100 million dollars to provide the institution with solidity and ensure the operation of business.
Then, upon receiving the C financing Ronda, Kapital achieved a valuation at 1.3 billion dollars and became a ‘unicorn’ company.
“Unicorn status is very good for the country,” said Saul. “We must continue making other countries invest in Mexico.”
