This Friday, the justice system prohibited the councilor of the Autonomous Community (CA), Federico Morón, from ppost on your social networks about your private life of Mayor Jhonny Fernández. He also ordered him to delete the publications of complaints he made previously.

The mayor alleged that the councilor would have violated rights to privacy, honor and honor through social media posts. In addition, his legal defense requested that the councilor eliminate the content that allegedly affects Fernández and that possible indications of civil and criminal liability be evaluated.

The court ruling grants a privacy protection action to the mayor of Santa Cruz ordering councilor Morón to delete the publications which he made where he denounces the alleged irregularities in Fernández’s assets.

“This is my 11th process during Jhonny Fernández’s administration, and it is the first where he decides to confront him directly. It is clear that he seeks to stop my inspectionto prevent him from talking about palos blanco, parties or land acquired irregularly,” Morón stated before learning of the court ruling.

The councilor considers that these actions seek to leave a precedent and stop his work as an inspector: “The city is broken and collapsed; But this is what the mayor is dedicated to, to stop real oversight,” he added.

For his part, the vice president of the Santa Cruz Municipal Council and CA councilor, José Alberti, questioned the ruling of justice and said that Moron “is politically persecuted” for supervising Mayor Jhonny Fernández.

“I consider the sentence a mockery of the intelligence of the people. Yesand imposes a limitation on the freedom to think differently and free expression, but above all on his supervisory power guaranteed in the Political Constitution of the State and other laws as a councilor. It is a disastrous precedent for justice and freedoms,” he lamented.

Alberti pointed out that Morón “he has been the councilor most critical of the mayor’s managementnot only in issues of city administration, environment or corruption but also to the conduct and actions of the mayor that have slowed down the development of Santa Cruz.”
