In two different hearings, the justice denied the request for release of Misael Nallar Viveros, main accused of the triple crime in Porongo, and extended his preventive detention in the La Paz Chonchocoro prison for 90 more days.
The judge of the municipality of La Guardia, Rodrigo Vedia, held both hearings virtually. In the first, the detention time for Esteban Beltrán Muñoz (Colombian) and Nalllar was extended by 90 days, while Jassir Góngora’s detention was ratified for 180 days.
The three defendants are prosecuted for the alleged crime of murder. Misael Nallar, who is the main defendant in this case, was apprehended on June 24, 2022 and sent to Chonchocoro prison for six months, a time that expired last month.
Judge Vedia decided to extend Nallar’s detention, arguing that no hearing has been held to date reconstruction of the events, which has been suspended three times, and the inspection of Workshop 777, in the municipality of Porongo, was not carried out.
The second hearing was for cessation and the main defendant in this case, Through his lawyers, he asked to be released. However, the judicial authority denied his request and confirmed his detention in the maximum security prison of La Paz.
The victims of the triple murder are: Sergeant Major Eustaquio Olano, Sergeant 2nd Alfonso Chávez and Gacip volunteer Daniel Candia Orihuela, who fuThey were executed on June 21, 2022 in the Los Cuchis community of the municipality of Porongo.
The following are being prosecuted and detained for this murder: Misael Nallar, Widen Nallar and Jassir Góngora, the others involved are: Rodrigo Gonzales Arrázola and Esteban Beltrán Muñoz, the first defends himself in freedom and the other is detained in Palmasola.
