The Justice imputed this Saturday to the 64-year-old man who stabbed his son in an argument last Thursday, informed The Observer the prosecutor in the case, Raúl Iglesias.
The man was charged with house arrest for 90 days with an electronic anklet, but, since none are available, he will have police custody, Iglesias said.
The man said in his statement that the young man was addicted to drugs and that he had stolen money from her several times. Witnesses to the incident agreed with that statement.
The discussion between father and son took place in a house in the Causeglia neighborhood -in Montevideo- and after the fact, the 19 year oldwounded, was transferred to the Cerro Coordinated Center, where he died.
