“The country is heading”; There is a stellar moment in Mexico and the words that define the transformation are “justice and well -being,” President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo said yesterday before the new Judicial Power of the Federation (PJF).
The president hoped that her members do not corrupt, that “it is not the power or money that dominates it, but the delivery of justice.” The objective is “to respond to people, not to a particular interest, to a privilege,” he said in yesterday’s morning.
He pointed out that the nascent PJF represents “a change of era, a very deep transformation. There is no other country in the world that has done something like that.”
That corruption is completely eradicated in the Judiciary “and that justice is given for all equally. That is a true rule of law.”
He indicated that “it is very symbolic how the doors opened (from the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation), because it was a bunker … that is, justice opens the doors to the people of Mexico.”
The president said that this power “will be much better than the previous one, for the mere fact that they are chosen by the people and have a challenge, which is in effect to demonstrate that there is a teaching of justice in Mexico, and I think they will fulfill it. So it is a good time for the country …. people are happy.”
He was told that the renewal of the Judiciary represents a great advance of the Plan C, implemented by former President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and stressed that it is “a clear course, defined by the people.”
It is “a collective decision of the people of Mexico from where we want to go, and we, as a government, correspond to us.”
He considered that the words that define the transformation “are justice and well -being, because it is not a matter of having more, of accumulating more, but that everyone lives well, with well -being and that there are democracy, freedoms and sovereignty in Mexico.” In this context, he explained that the economic model changed, poverty and also inequality decreases.
“Mexico became the most unequal country in the world; now it is different, there is redistribution and many profits of banks, businessmen. It is its own model, no one was copied.”
He insisted that here “the people are not repressed, there is freedom of expression, of meeting, of demonstration.”
Therefore, he said, “conservatism in Mexico has very little grip … having no arguments, they despair a lot, they have a lot of hatred, anger. That is why I say they do yoga.”
The president informed that as of this Friday she will make an accountability tour. ”In three and a half weeks she will visit three entities per day, and will be accompanied by the governors.
He said that on September 8 he will deliver the budget to 2026, the closing estimate of this year and “everything that has to do with the income and expenses of the federal government”, so that the economic package is approved.
