Just over a month to go for the National High School Exam (Enem) 2022. This year, the tests will be held on November 13th and 20th. Altogether, according to the Anísio Teixeira National Institute of Educational Studies and Research (Inep), the Ministry of Education (MEC) agency responsible for the exam, 3,396,632 people are registered for this year’s tests.
As in the last two editions, Enem 2022 will have a printed version and a digital version. Of the total number of applicants, 3,331,566 will take the paper test, and 65,066, on a computer. Participants will receive information about registration and test locations through the registration confirmation card, which can be accessed on the internet. The card will still be released by Inep.
Enem participants will take language, human sciences and writing tests on the first day of application. Candidates will have 5 hours and 30 minutes to solve the questions. On the second day of application, they will solve math and natural science questions in 5 hours of application. The tests will be objective, with the exception of the essay, which must be handwritten, both in the printed and digital versions.
Enem will offer accessibility resources and treatment by social name for participants who have made the necessary requests. Among the services available are tests in Braille, translator and interpreter of Brazilian Sign Language (Libras), video test in Libras (video with the translation of items in Libras) and test with enlarged letters.
Those who are preparing for the Enem can access all tests and feedback from previous editions on inep website, to prepare for the exams. Also available are participant bookletswith tips on how to structure the essay text and explanations about the correction.
To test their knowledge, students can access the free Enem questionsa bank prepared by the Brazil Communication Company (EBC), which gathers exam questions from previous years. In the system, it is possible to choose which areas of knowledge to study. The bank selects the questions at random.
