A dump truck operator lost his life after falling into an abyss in Curimarca – Jauja. The victim is José Luis Aguilar Leonardo (66), who was seriously injured when he fell into an abyss while driving a dump truck at a maintenance work on the Curimarca – San Ramón highway.
With the support of his work colleagues, he was rescued and taken by van to the Domingo Olavegoya hospital in Jauja, where his body unfortunately arrived.
With it, in less than 24 hours, five people died.

The other victims are two young people, a father and a pedestrian. The first incident occurred in Alto Miraflores in the Pilcomayo district, where the student Rosaura MP (18) was found inert inside her home, with signs of asphyxiation. Shortly after, near the Los Ángeles de Ocopilla cemetery, the lifeless body of a man about 24 years old was found. His pet, which would have accompanied him to the hill, did not leave the body until the police took it to the Hualhuas morgue.
At night, another deceased was found on Atahualpa and Cajamarca streets in Huancayo. The merchants mentioned that they saw him lie down to rest and he did not wake up again. Police from the Huancayo police station arrived for legal proceedings. The unfortunate man of about 45 years old who was dedicated to drinking liquor.
Finally, Cristóbal Fabián (58) was found inert in the building where he lived alone, located on Ayacucho and Junín streets. According to the Police, the father of the family had been dead for several hours. The four bodies were taken to the Hualhuas morgue.
