The Superintendency of Land Transportation of People, Cargo and Merchandise (Sutran) inspected 32 vehicles that covered the Huancayo – Lima route at km 133 of the Longitudinal de la Sierra Sur, as part of the actions of the Safe Travel Plan for Fiestas Patrias 2024.

Following the interventions, five offending vehicles were identified, one of which was not authorized, for which a fine of one UIT was imposed and the driver’s license was confiscated. The operations will continue until August 1 at strategic points and land terminals.
