Three members of the National Police were arrested for being involved in a street fight in the province of Chupaca. The police officers were transferred to the city of Huancayo for legal proceedings.

Two of the detainees are active police officers, the first with the initials AOG (24), a non-commissioned officer who works in the El Tambo district and the second is RVY (21) who works in the Rímac district, city of Lima. The third is the retired non-commissioned officer with the initials LYC (28).

The police were on their day off and were intervened on Av. María Miranda and Los Héroes, where the brawl took place, for which the reasons are currently unknown. The detainees were taken to the medical examiner as they had injuries.
