Since April 16, 2024, the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics has been conducting home visits with the aim of obtaining updated information at the regional and national territorial level, in order to know the housing number for a new directory of homes and establishments.

The new housing registry will allow the planning and design of census routes for the next national census. The Departmental Director of Junín, Lic. Jhon Edgar Zumaeta Delgado, explained that this important statistical activity will also ensure that all urban and rural population centers existing in the district are represented and properly located on the corresponding map, in addition to verifying and updating on the latter, the population centers that no longer exist or have disappeared.
What data should we provide?
INEI staff will update the information on existing homes and establishments, as well as the names and surnames of the person responsible for the household. It is important to note that the person in charge of providing the information must be over 18 years of age. The survey lasts about 5 minutes.

How to recognize INEI staff?
In case of fear of providing information about the home, it is important to recognize the INEI staff, they must have the blue INEI cap, a distinctive lead and blue vest, and a photocheck identification. On the staff identification there will be a QR code which can be scanned and personal data verified.
