Junín health personnel attend 24 hours a day during Christmas time

This was announced by the Junín Regional Health Directorate, within the framework of Directorial Resolution No. 1297-2021-DRSJ / OEGDRH, which declares a “yellow alert” to all IPRESS, demanding adequate attention in the services of health to people.

“Through this declaration of alert, the health personnel and the team of initial intervention brigades will be picketing each health establishment, attending on these special dates to any event that puts the health of the population at risk,” said the coordinator Regional CPCED National Defense in Health of Diresa Junín, Gladys Rojas Soria.

Until January 2, 2022, health personnel will provide timely care and must respond to any emergency and disasters at the regional level, in the face of situations that would be generated by concentration and mobilization of people such as traffic accidents, fires, food poisoning, bad height, pyrotechnic accidents and risk of contagion from COVID-19.

Likewise, the health sector reminds the population that on December 24 and 31 the curfew time will be from 11:00 pm to 4:00 am, a decision made by the executive due to the increase in cases of the variant COVID-19 omicron.

Christmas and New Years could generate adverse scenarios that affect people’s health due to the crowding and movement of people that usually happens. During these holidays, emergencies and emergencies in the region will be attended by the staff of the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU), who will be available 24 hours a day at the service of the public.

“Inform the entire population that in case of any emergency dial 106, the SAMU Junín will arrive at your home or the place of the events at any time of the day and will provide free care,” said the head of Samu Junín, Liz Samaniego Chávez .

He urged the population not to lower their guard, wear a mask if you go to crowded places, wash your hands constantly and go to your vaccination point. “Due to the strategy, the symptoms are mild and the cases of COVID-19 have decreased. Greater prevention and care not only for us, but for our family ”, Liz Samaniego stressed.

To date, 24,331 emergency calls have been answered in the Mantaro Valley for different reasons.
