Junaeb Card: who will be able to access it in 2025 with only 2 requirements

President Gabriel Boric announced in September an increase for Scholarship of Food for Higher Education (BAES), a measure that will come into effect in 2025. During the approval of next year’s budget, Boric confirmed that the scholarship will amount to 48,000 pesos, an increase of 3,000 pesos compared to the current amount of 45,000 . This increase seeks to alleviate the economic burden of students in their daily lives, especially with regard to food.

The president recalled that when he took office, the scholarship It was at 32,000 pesos and had not received increases for 10 years, which underlines the relevance of this adjustment in a context of growing inflation. The measure responds to the need to support students, considering the high costs of living and current economic challenges.
