An 18-year-old young man died this Saturday night as a result of a motorcycle crash that occurred in the capital city of Salto.
The incident occurred on Costanera Norte street and Garibaldi avenue, a place where young people usually meet at night. According to the Highway Police, people who were present at the time of the accident helped the injured and called ambulances, which arrived to transport them.
The injured man managed to reach a health center where he received medical attention. However, due to the extent of his injuries, he died within hours.
On board the other motorcycle involved in the crash were two other people, who were also injured. The two suffered various traumas and one of them suffered a fractured tibia and fibula.
