Businessman Julius Virgil Brache takes over as president of the Association of Industries of the Dominican Republic (AIRD)management in which it will focus on contributing to the development of world-class companies, strengthening public-private cooperation, promoting the circular economy and environmental sustainability, foreign trade and productive chains.
Elected unanimously for the period 2023-2024, branch indicated that it is necessary to continue working together with state institutions, society and all productive sectors to advance in the industrialization of the country.
“We will be focused on boosting the linkage of the local manufacturing sector with the free zones, with companies in the tourism sector qualified under Confotur and with the companies approved in the border development zone”, indicated the business leader.
Likewise, it raised the objective of continuing to promote the digital productive chain of MSMEs with their suppliers and clients, in such a way that it is easier for small companies to become medium-sized and medium-sized companies to become large, to continue strengthening the productive ecosystem, creating opportunities for everyone.
