In socio-digital networks, the idea is promoted that Samuel could be a presidential candidate but, above all, that Mariana could be a standard-bearer citizen.

It is true that Nuevo León had as governor a simulator and ineffective Jaime Rodríguez Calderón, self-styled The Bronco, who also deceived voters with the intensive and mendacious use of social networks, running as Independent, when its political matrix continues to be the most traditional PRI.

Now, Mariana and Samuel are part of the Movimiento Ciudadano party project, together with the municipal president of Monterrey, Luis Donaldo Colosio (they, plus the also lawyer and now federal deputy Agustín Basave, son of the politician and academic of the same name, who was unaffiliated president of the PRD, form a group of young Monterrey politicians who have supported MC in that region). The relevance of this group has been overshadowing the aspirations of the Governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro.

Luis Echeverría Álvarez, who was president of Mexico from 1970 to 1976, will be 100 years old today.
