Santo Domingo.- The new Superintendent of Insurance, Julio César Valentín, proclaimed that the era of continuing the transformations and changes in the Superintendency of Insurance has arrived.
In this regard, the official thanked President Abinader for the trust he placed in him by appointing him to these functions, which he assured would require considerable effort to continue the work of the outgoing superintendent, Josefa Castillo.
Julio César Valentín expressed himself in these terms when he was sworn in and appointed as Superintendent of Insurance by the Minister of Finance, José Manuel (Jochi) Vicente, who wished him success in his new duties in carrying out ethical and transparent management.
The Superintendent of Insurance said that he is committed to carrying out a management that meets the demands of the institution and the expectations of the citizens of the 21st century, so that each action tends to touch the sensitivity of the population, especially of users of insurance services.
He stated that his functions and roles are clearly established in the regulations, which he said he will adhere to, in addition to the ethical principles referred to in the statements made by Minister Jochi Vicente during the swearing-in ceremony.
Valentín was appointed to the functions by Decree 459-24 of the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, replacing the outgoing Superintendent, Josefa Castillo Rodríguez, who served in the functions for 4 years, who was present and gave the official a legacy of memories of his management, as well as a summary that he presented through a video.
