Tomorrow, former ambassador Julio Cesar Arriola Ramírez will be sworn in as the new chancellor of the Republic, after Euclides Acevedo resigned from office. The new Minister will have as his primary objective the future negotiations of Annex C of the Itaipu Treaty, and at the same time the agreement for the cost of energy that is still pending.
It should be remembered that the diplomat assumed the position of ambassador of Paraguay in New York to the United Nations (UN) in 2017 and was a member of the Board of Qualifications of the Diplomatic and Consular Ranking of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Minister of Administration and Technical Affairs in 2012.
